"Little People, Big World" star Matt Roloff is making yet another attempt to part ways with his family's longtime home, bringing it back to the market for the heavily discounted price of $2.6 million—having tried and failed to convince one of his children to take it over.

The 5,800-square-foot Oregon residence served as the backdrop for dozens of episodes of the TLC series, which ran for 25 seasons and was also where Roloff raised his four children—one of whom, Zach, was born with dwarfism like his father.

It is located on a 16.6-acre piece of farmland that is part of a much larger parcel owned by Roloff, who explained in a video posted to his YouTube account that he has since moved into a smaller dwelling that sits on an adjacent 90-acre parcel—and is now seeking a new neighbor who can care for his family's home as lovingly as they have.

The reality star has made several attempts to offload the Hillsboro dwelling and its surrounding land in recent years, initially putting the property on the market for $3.4 million in 2023, before relisting it in 2025 for the much lower price of $2.9 million.

Now, having offered his four children one last chance to take it over, only for them to insist they are happy in their own homes, he is trying once more to find a buyer, this time listing the property with Clint Currin of Re/Max Equity Group for $2.6 million.

"We love this farm and are so grateful for all the wonderful family memories it holds," Roloff said in a statement shared with Realtor.com. "The decision to sell the smaller, 16.6-acre farm with the big house reflects where we all are in our lives.

"Since we'll stay in the smaller house on the large farm, we'd love for the next owners to be great neighbors. We've already planted for pumpkin season, and the patch will continue this year. It's just too much fun and we love seeing everyone!"

Accessed by a gated, winding driveway lined with mature trees, the estate immediately delivers the sense of privacy and scale that helped make it a standout setting on television for more than two decades.

At its center sits a sprawling residence offering more than 5,800 square feet of living space with six bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms.

Guests are welcomed through a dramatic foyer crowned by a cupola-style ceiling that floods the entrance with natural light.

Soaring vaulted ceilings continue throughout much of the home, while rich hardwood flooring, custom millwork, and built-in cabinetry add warmth and character.

The main living areas were designed with both everyday family life and large gatherings in mind.

Multiple living and dining spaces flow throughout the home, creating room for everything from holiday celebrations to quiet evenings overlooking the property's picturesque grounds.

Large windows frame views of the surrounding acreage while allowing sunlight to pour into the interiors.

Nearby dining areas provide comfortable spaces for family dinners or hosting guests, while the open layout helps connect the kitchen to the home's primary gathering spaces.

Elsewhere, the residence includes a dedicated library lined with built-in shelving, multiple office and den spaces, and a bonus media room that offers flexibility for work, relaxation, or recreation.

The floor plan also includes several private suites, allowing guests or extended family members to enjoy their own separate living quarters with added privacy.

The primary bedroom suite functions as a peaceful retreat within the home. Spacious and light-filled, the room offers views of the surrounding property and is paired with a large en-suite bathroom designed for comfort and convenience.

Additional bedrooms throughout the residence provide ample accommodations for family and visitors alike.

Outside, the estate expands into an impressive recreational retreat. A swimming pool and hot tub anchor the outdoor living areas, while covered patios create inviting spaces for al fresco dining and entertaining.

Walking trails weave through the grounds, crossing bridges and winding past a seasonal creek, open lawns, mature landscaping, and tranquil garden spaces.

Fans of the series will instantly recognize several of the property's most famous attractions, including the custom-built Western town and whimsical stone castle that became recurring fixtures throughout the show's run.

An additional workshop, multiple outbuildings, and extensive infrastructure further expand the property's possibilities.

"Whether envisioned as a private estate, creative retreat or agricultural enterprise, this exceptional property offers endless possibilities that are nearly impossible to replicate, especially in a residential setting," said the listing agent.

For millions of viewers who watched the Roloff family grow up on the farm, the sale represents the closing of a memorable chapter in reality television history.

Yet for its future owner, the property offers a rare opportunity to acquire not only a sprawling Pacific Northwest estate, but also one of the most recognizable homes ever featured on reality TV.
