‘Summer House’ Star Danielle Olivera ‘Finally’ Brings Baby Son Aidan Home After He Spent 63 Days in the NICU: ‘Time to Move In’

“Summer House” alum Danielle Olivera officially has a new roommate: her first-born son, Aidan Santos Heavey, who has finally been welcomed into the family home after spending more than two months in the neonatal intensive care unit.

The 37-year-old reality star and her partner, Eoin Heavey, welcomed their baby boy on June 21 at just 28 weeks, revealing at the time that the newborn was receiving treatment in the NICU at Stony Brook hospital in New York.

Then, on Aug. 24, Olivera shared the joyous news that her son had been released from the NICU, enabling the proud parents to return home with the baby for the very first time.

“Yesterday, Aidan graduated from the NICU after 63 days! He’s finally home,” the proud mom shared, adding a teary-eyed emoji to punctuate the sweet update. “We love you Stony Brook, thank you so much for everything.”

The post featured a series of photos of the “In the City” family posing together to celebrate the milestone moment alongside a commemorative chalkboard, which read, “It’s time for me to move in with my family.”

In a few of the adorable images, Aidan is seen rocking a tiny graduation cap crafted from paper.

The comment section quickly filled up with well wishes from the couple's fellow Bravo cast members.

“Homebound! He’s ready to go. Congratulations guys,” Andrea Denver wrote, while Ciara Miller added, “Sooooo sweeettt.”

The new parents have shared a handful of social media updates on life in the NICU since Olivera gave birth to Aidan, who arrived 10 weeks early on June 21.

Heavey described the occasion as the “longest day of the year both solstice wise and for [mom] and dad,” joking that the newborn was “heading to summer camp at NICU.” He added that they were looking forward to bringing him home.

They also offered some insight on their son’s Irish name, chosen with Heavey’s Dublin upbringing in mind.

“Aidan translates to ‘fiery one’ or ‘bringer of fire,’” Heavey wrote in the birth announcement shared on Instagram. He detailed the trip Olivera took to the emergency room in Southampton before being “transferred by ambulance” to Stony Brook for the delivery.

On Aug. 1, Olivera opened up about the couple’s “smiley little legend,” noting that Aidan was able to get “way more cuddles” once his CPAP breathing support was removed. She also remarked on the “cute outfits” he was happy to wear and gave a glimpse of his first bath.

In one slide, she posted a screenshot from the hospital’s camera technology, which allowed her to check in on Aidan while she was at home.

“So thankful we’re able to see him when we’re not there,” she wrote.

The hospital staff even helped the family celebrate Heavey’s 40th birthday, as Olivera boasted “they did such an amazing job” in a caption accompanying video clips featuring birthday banners, balloons, and a festive onesie on Aidan.

Olivera and Heavey moved in together earlier this year. The couple told The Daily Dish they met “a long time ago,” having both moved to New York “around the same time” after college.

The duo reconnected when Heavey returned to the city after living in Miami, and after about nine months of dating beginning in mid-2025, they moved in together.

In the same interview, Olivera spoke candidly about “navigating” their new living arrangement, which consisted mostly of “cleaning out closets” and “trying to get rid of stuff” because she has “a lot of things.”

On the heels of moving in with each other, the dust settled from a lawsuit Olivera was involved in with landlords Csaba and Ana Kanyaro, in which it was alleged the reality TV personality owed more than $16,000 in unpaid rent after failing to pay for her two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in Brooklyn, NY.

In April, it was reported that the case had been settled, with rent “fully paid” and Olivera in good standing with the property owners.

Olivera's life changes aren’t the only things in motion in the “Summer House” universe. The eight-bedroom, 8,700-square-foot Sag Harbor home the show has been filmed in for several years was listed for $5.65 million in March.

While it has been announced that the series would return for Season 11, there’s no official word yet on whether the cast will spend another season in the Hamptons estate they’ve rented for the past few summers.

In addition to Miller, cast members set to return are Lindsay Hubbard, Kyle Cooke, Jesse Solomon, KJ Dillard, Mia Calabrese, and Bailey Turner. Amanda Batula and West Wilson exited following the backlash over their controversial relationship.
