A Land Parcel on an Ultra-Exclusive Florida Island Has Listed for $200M — Offering the Rare Chance To Live Next to Jeff Bezos

One of the most expensive pieces of real estate now on the market in the United States is a land parcel on exclusive Indian Creek Island off the coast of Miami — and a deep-pocketed prospective owner can call Jeff Bezos their neighbor.

Thing is, that buyer will need to be as wealthy as Bezos.

The small, undeveloped plot of waterfront land — just 1.84 acres — is on the market for a staggering $200 million. It’s a sky-high price, but it’s not the priciest now for sale in America. That title goes to a sprawling waterfront compound across the state in affluent Naples, which listed in early 2024 for a breathtaking $295 million.

Whoever buys the parcel, at 9 Indian Creek Island Road, can build their dream house next door to the Amazon billionaire. Bezos has currently paid $237 million for three properties on the island at 11, 12 and 28 Indian Creek Island Road.

The ritzy island, known as one of the original “billionaire bunkers,” boasts only 41 homes, plus the Indian Creek Country Club, with an 18-hole golf course, on 300 acres.The listed land comes with 200 feet on Biscayne Bay and views of downtown Miami. That means there is enough room to build a deep-water dock for a 180-foot megayacht, listing broker Ilya Reznik, of the Reznik Group, told Gimme Shelter.
