Billionaire’s $50 Million Turks and Caicos Mansion That Has Been Featured on Netflix and Bravo Heads to Auction—With No Reserve

A $50 million Turks and Caicos property that has been featured in an array of wildly popular reality TV shows, including Bravo's "Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip" and Netflix's "Too Hot to Handle" is set to hit the auction block next month—with no reserve.

That means the property, which is currently on the market for $50 million, could—in theory—sell for as little as $1, although the seller's hope is that a buyer will come forward who is willing to splash much more cash.

The opulent abode is currently owned by French businessman Fabrice Grinda, who purchased the dwelling in 2019 for $11.5 million—then proceeded to pour more than $30 million into renovations, including a significant expansion of its original floor plan.

Over the last seven years, the property has been offered as both a reality TV backdrop and a luxury vacation rental, before Grinda initially put it on the market for $30 million in 2022, as first reported by Mansion Global.

At the time, the home's updates had not all been completed, however, and some are still ongoing, including the addition of solar panels that are expected to save a future owner up to $300,000 a year.

Now, Grinda will try his luck on the auction block on April 17, when his extravagant home will go under the hammer with Platinum Luxury Auctions, led by Trayor Lesnock.

According to a press release shared with Realtor.com®, Grinda has made the decision to part ways with the property to focus his attentions on some of the other opulent dwellings in his portfolio—which he hopes to transform in the same luxurious way he did with this dwelling, which is known as Triton Luxury Villa.

"That vision ultimately turned the estate into a ready-made cinematic backdrop, catching the attention of major streaming platforms," the release read.

"The property was selected as a filming location for 'Too Hot to Handle' (Season 6), where its infinity pools, oceanfront terraces, and dramatic architecture were broadcast to Netflix’s massive international audience.

"It also hosted 'The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip,' placing the estate in front of millions of Bravo viewers and cementing its pop-culture status," added the press release.

The home sprawls across 18,300 square feet, over 7 acres. It boasts 15 bedrooms, two pools, a hot tub, a cold plunge, and a beachfront gym.

The property is also set to transition into a fully off-the-grid infrastructure.

According to the press release, rental income can reach up to $32,000 per night, making the dwelling ideal for anyone seeking a longer-term business investment.

The information also noted that, despite the property's ties to the world of reality TV, it is far from just another on-screen mansion—but rather its own impressive brand, one that has built up a reputation for being one of the world's most luxurious locations to host any number of events.

"Unlike many luxury homes briefly rented for production, Triton reflects Grinda’s personal investment strategy and global brand-building approach," notes the release.

"The estate has doubled as a private retreat and as host site for high-level tech conferences, including the Triton Crypto Summit and FJ Labs retreats, drawing international founders and investors—effectively positioning Turks & Caicos as an emerging tech and lifestyle destination."

Upon entering the abode, guests are greeted with an expansive floor plan that perfectly blends white and black furnishings as well as modern furnishings.

The bedrooms come complete with French doors that offer panoramic views of the water.

Meanwhile, the elegant bathrooms feature large soaking tubs and chic touches.

The living area boasts double couches, a patterned ceiling, and access to the serene outdoor area.

Elsewhere in the home, there is also a large theater room with a firepit in the center.

Meanwhile, the backyard has an outdoor kitchen in addition to its shimmering pool and tennis court.

The compound-style estate also boasts another very impressive honor—having become the first location in Turks and Caicos to be outfitted with private padel courts.
