Buyer Snaps Up $4.4M Nashville Home of Clea Shearer, Co-Founder of The Home Edit

Clea Shearer, star of Netflix’s “Get Organized With The Home Edit,” recently put her five-bedroom Nashville, TN, home on the market for $4,450,000.

And less than two weeks after announcing the listing on Instagram, she and husband John Shearer have already found a buyer for the recently built, 5,742-square-foot abode. It’s now in contingent sale status.

Known for transforming the homes of celebrities such as Reese Witherspoon and Khloe Kardahsian on the popular series, Shearer co-founded The Home Edit company with Joanna Teplin.

In 2022, Witherspoon’s company, Hello Sunshine, acquired The Home Edit, which also has a product line and bestselling book.

Last year, 41-year-old Shearer underwent breast cancer treatment, including a double mastectomy, which she documented on social media. After completing treatment, she announced in a Nov. 2022 Instagram message that she was cancer-free.

‘Bittersweet’ parting

According to her social media announcement, Shearer and her husband are planning to stay in Nashville with their two kids and embark on another project.

She wrote, “Our Nashville house is officially listed which is so bittersweet And no, we’re not leaving Nashville – just building a new house!”

Fans of the show will instantly recognize the organizer’s trademark rainbow-hued design touches throughout the unsurprisingly pristine property.

The modern house was custom-built in 2020 in Belle Meade Highlands. An electric front gate on the half-acre lot offers privacy and security.

The bright and spacious interior boasts white-oak flooring throughout, casement windows, tray ceilings, and, of course, lots of custom built-ins for organization!
