EXCLUSIVE: ’90 Day Fiance: The Other Way’ Stars Reveal First Look at New Home in France After Quitting U.S. To Save Their Marriage

Love at first sight and cold feet are common experiences in relationships—and real estate—as two stars of the hit reality TV series “90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way” soon learned when buying their first home in France.

Manon and Anthony Berryman are among six couples chronicling their move out of the U.S. on the hit TLC spinoff series, which is a reversal of the original “90 Day Fiancé” show concept. 

In the case of the French native and her American husband, the move to Europe has not been without its hiccups—particularly after Manon originally committed to starting their life together in Los Angeles after tying the knot with California local Anthony five years ago.

However, after the couple welcomed their son, Ben, the pressures of parenting while pursuing success in the U.S. caused a full-blown burnout for the new mom and digital marketing coach, and she found herself in desperate need of a fresh start.

“The American dream is actually killing me,” Manon previously admitted, prompting stay-at-home dad Anthony to admit, “So we are moving to France to save our marriage.”

Earlier in Season 7, which premiered in September, the couple go to see an approximately $421,000 traditional stone farmhouse in the small southeastern village of La Provence Verte. Though Manon and Anthony did not end up purchasing that specific property, they did submit a winning offer for another house in the same area.

Now, in an exclusive clip from the upcoming episode titled “Adios,” the Berrymans document the first moment they return to their new home as its official owners, marking a true new beginning for their family.

Anthony is seen at the wheel of a car driving through a neighborhood full of multistory homes topped with warm terra-cotta-tiled roofs when he homes in on a two-story cream dwelling featuring oxblood-colored shutters that flank the exterior windows.

“There it is, our house on the corner, our house, our house!” he exclaims as he narrates to his son, “We are home, Benjamin! Pulling in for the first time.”

The happy homecoming is momentarily interrupted as Anthony almost hits a concrete post while turning the car off a narrow street and onto an unpaved driveway that stretches beyond a solid arched gate.

“Oh my God!” screams Manon before Anthony faults “first-time jitters” for his poor judgment of space.

Despite the near miss, Anthony is overwhelmingly pleased with how things are unfolding for his family, and says the only worry left is whether or not Manon has warmed up to her new domain.

“It's really nice going to our new house, and it's nice that things are really starting to go our way, but I just hope that her buyer's remorse fades away because, historically in our relationship, if Manon's not happy, nobody's happy,” explains Anthony.

As the Berrymans' car proceeds onto the property to park under a carport, it becomes clear the homeowners have some work ahead of them to restore and maintain the place. As an example, there’s an exterior wall that’s been patched, but not yet painted to match the rest of the structure. 

None of that seems to dampen the family’s excitement as they pass by a metal gate and enter the home through a glass-paned door.

“Come on into your house, bud,” instructs Anthony, while Manon musters up more excitement for their son and herself. 

“Come, Ben, yeah, here we go, woo hoo!” she shouts amid a burst of laughter.

Beautiful stonework is present on exterior and interior walls, but perhaps the most eye-catching feature upon entry is a curved floating staircase that’s set against a wall that opens up to the kitchen.

The proverbial heart of the home is grounded by warm-toned wooden floors and cabinets adorned with black hardware. There’s a whimsical scallop detail along the ceiling where simple pendant lights are anchored.

Cream walls with a yellow tint run throughout the residence, as do various warm wooden accents, such as thin floor baseboards, ceiling beams, and accent pieces above door openings. Arches, additional scallop details, and more stonework show up in several rooms, including one with an accent wall painted in a muted blue hue.

The existing aesthetic gets Anthony’s complete approval.

“This feels awesome,” he says. “We're home.”

As the trio continues touring the floor plan together, they each express contentment with what they see inside, as well as beyond the walls of their new abode.

“Look, Ben!” calls Manon, to which Anthony further directs, “Look at that view.”

From a window over the kitchen sink, the Berrymans spot a beautiful rainbow. 

More stonework, built-in cabinets, and some sconces round out the bright kitchen area.

Meanwhile, a moody bathroom is revealed with minimal overhead lighting, a simple rectangular mirror, and a bowl-shaped vessel sink that sits atop a wooden vanity.

Outdoors, there is a spacious lawn dotted with mature trees, while the area closest to the structure features a relatively bare landscape.

Anthony holds Ben and walks through a hallway with a smile while Manon offers her official endorsement.

“It is a beautiful view, love it,” she concedes. “Finally, we are here in our home, sweet home. Yeah, it is cute. I like it.” 

Behind the scenes, Manon shares how Anthony fell head-over-heels for the house the first time they saw it and got carried away with his plans for the place.

“When we visited the house, Anthony just fell in love with it,” she recounts. “I could see Anthony's eyes, like, sparkling. He was, like, ‘Wow, that's such a beautiful one. It's huge. It's big. The land is, like, huge. I can have goats in there.’ I was like, 'Stop it. You're going too far.' But, anyway.”

Back inside the family’s new residence, Ben plays in a space that is separated by a pony wall. It continues the cream and wood theme.

“Someone's having fun in their new house,” Anthony points out.

Once again, Manon reveals details of how their move to this home came to be.

“We signed a paper on the spot. You should have seen Anthony's eyes when he was inside that house,” she recalls.

While Manon needed more time than her husband to warm up to the property, she is now totally smitten by her change of address and is already anticipating a happy future for her family home—and hopefully, her marriage.

“I love the house,” she declares. “That's true. I do love the house. It's very nice. Yeah, yeah, Mommy's right. Yeah, I’m going to make it work, and I'm going to make it mine. Even better, even better.”
