EXCLUSIVE: Pop Star Kesha Finally Sells Modern L.A. Mansion 2 Years After Listing It for $6 Million—and Earns Very Hefty Profit in the Process
Music sensation Kesha has finally sold her sprawling Los Angeles mansion, two years after she first made a move to offload the ultramodern "architectural gem."
The 39-year-old "Die Young" songstress first listed her modern home back in March 2024 for $5.95 million, only four years after she snapped it up for $4.95 million.
However, that listing was moved after just a few weeks—only for the home to return to the market for the higher price of $7 million in March of this year, when it was also made available as a rental, with a monthly ask of $35,000.
Now, records show that Kesha, whose real name is Kesha Rose Sebert, has landed herself a buyer, who closed on the property May 19 with a final sale price of $6.68 million, just a touch under the singer's latest asking price.
Though she didn't quite achieve that lofty number, Kesha still walks away with a very significant profit, earning just under $1.7 million on the price she paid for the dwelling back in 2020.

Located in the posh L.A.neighborhood of Mar Vista, the seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom abode is the brainchild of local architectural and landscaping firm OTT Arch, which placed a huge emphasis on creating a seamless flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces.
Large sliding glass doors on the main level can be opened up to a verdant backyard, complete with a pool and patio, while the home's boxy design also features several decks that can be accessed via various bedrooms.
There is also a separate 1,000-square-foot accessory dwelling unit in the backyard, which features two bedrooms, a private kitchen, two bathrooms, and its own laundry room, making it the ideal space for longer-term guests.
Meanwhile, the main residence, which was built in 2018, spans just under 6,000 square feet and features what the listing described as several "striking" design features, including a bold staircase with glass railings, a glass-encased wine storage area, and elegant wooden accents throughout.
The main living space features an open plan that flows nicely from the living room to the dining area and sleek kitchen, which features a 14-foot island, quartz countertops, and luxe appliances.
The home's many design details include wide-plank hardwood floors and large windows that flood the place with sunshine.
Despite its incredibly contemporary design, Kesha managed to make the dwelling feel incredibly cozy with her own personal touches, with listing photos taken back in 2024 revealing many of the unique decor choices she made while living in the property.
Colorful rugs and artworks help to add a vibrant feel to a den space, which features a built-in fireplace, while a variety of textures bring a fresh perspective to the open-plan design.
That den flows directly into a dedicated dining space alongside the kitchen, while a second living room can be found just around the corner.
Kesha's bedroom, meanwhile, features an enormous California king-sized bed, as well as several nods to her impressive music career—including a mannequin that has been dressed in a studded leather jacket, a style that the singer famously favors.

Her boho-style clothing designs can also be seen hanging up in the expansive walk-in closet, which features three separate storage islands, ideal for anyone with a large collection of fashions.
The singer also made good use out of her space bedrooms, with one utilized as a music room, complete with a funky patterned couch, a keyboard, and a drum kit.
Another space has been dedicated to wellness and fitness, complete with a workout machine and an at-home sauna.
The home boasts 360-degree views from the multi-level rooftop deck, with plenty of comfy seating and a fire pit.
The property also has a 40-foot pool, spa, and built-in barbecue station.
Interestingly, Kesha shed some light on her future relocation plans, declaring during a surprise DJ set at the start of May that she was plotting a move to San Francisco, where her appearance took place.
While spinning the decks during the performance, Kesha told the crowds: "I'm moving to San Francisco." It's unclear, however, whether she's already bought a home there.
The sale of her home also comes mere days before she kicks off her tour, "The Freedom Tour," which begins on May 23.
She announced the tour on March 24, telling fans, "This summer we are reclaiming our bodies, our voices, and our joy. We have survived. Now we get to be free. Let’s be free together. I want to know what freedom feels like, with all of you.”
Kesha added, “I’ve lived through the fire,” says Kesha. “This tour is about what comes after. Freedom isn’t just leaving something behind—it’s discovering that what you have lived through has made you magnificently who you are.”
