Golfing Legend Greg Norman Gives Rare Glimpse Inside His Palm Beach Gardens Mansion During Fox News Interview With Steve Doocy
Pro golfer Greg Norman has welcomed cameras into his sprawling Florida mansion while opening up about his day-to-day life since retirement during a rare interview with "Fox & Friends" host Steve Doocy.
The 70-year-old Australian athlete, who spent 331 weeks as the world's No. 1 professional golfer in the 1980s and the 1990s, opened the doors to his resort-style mansion in Palm Beach Gardens in the Fox News appearance with Doocy, 69, who himself recently became a full-time resident of the Sunshine State.
In the segment, which aired on Jan. 14, Norman took Doocy on a stroll through his palatial estate, which he purchased for $12.2 million in 2021, one day after selling his longtime mansion in Jupiter, FL, for the sky-high price of $55.1 million.
Running Doocy through his daily routine, the golfing icon revealed that, despite retiring from the sport, he maintains a very strict regimen, which usually begins as early as 4:30 a.m.
Norman and Doocy began their talk in the backyard of the athlete's home, with the cameras capturing the former LIV Golf CEO's large pool, lush garden, and outdoor lounging areas in full view.

"Can you imagine having that as your swimming pool?" Doocy said as he greeted Norman in his backyard.
While gushing about Norman's achievements, Doocy asked the sports legend if he continues to play golf as the pair walked through Norman's patio area, which features numerous cozy seating areas.
"I hardly ever golf. I sit out here between 4:30 and 5:30, and this is my early morning start," Norman responded.
While he doesn't make it out onto the green very often, golf still consumes much of his life, with the former sports star explaining that he now spends his morning speaking with overseas clients whom he is helping to build courses for.
From Norman's patio, the pair then walked inside to a stunning living room, complete with white couches and wooden beam ceilings. They also strutted past the chef's kitchen, which boasts wooden cabinets, a large island, and state-of-the-art appliances.
Norman's wife, Kiki, made a brief appearance in the segment, revealing that she was the one to design the home. Her husband added that they spend only a few months of the year at the property, instead opting to base themselves primarily at their home in the Bahamas.
They are in the Sunshine State for around "four to five months of the year," Norman explained. "I spend a lot of time in the Bahamas; we have a place there."

The duo then walked into the dining room, which features a large wooden table and mementos from Norman's successful career, including the many trophies and medals he earned from his impressive performances on the course.
They then headed into what was formerly a great room, which has since been turned into a large bar/entertaining spot.
"We had this bar built in our old house and they didn't want it, so we took it and put it in here," Norman revealed.
Property records for the Normans' dwelling reveal that it spans 11,837 square feet and features six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms. There is also a five-car garage.
The dwelling also features a home theater, a wood-paneled office and fireplace, and a game room, family room, and breakfast room.
In addition to the oversized pool, the outdoor area boasts a summer kitchen with a swim-up bar, cabanas and lounge areas, a tennis court, and a guesthouse.

The home is a “perfect combination of timeless formal and casual living,” a previous listing noted.
Although beautiful, the Palm Beach Gardens home is a far cry from the opulent megamansion that Norman and his wife called home in Jupiter, where they lived for more than 30 years.
Having decided to downsize, he and his wife put the luxe compound on the market at the beginning of 2021, with an asking price of $60 million. Known as Tranquility, the nearly 32,000-square-foot mansion sits on an 8.3-acre parcel that extends from the ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway.
Four months later, they struck a deal, shaving a mere $5 million off their original asking price. Even after lavishing the sprawling grounds with an array of improvements, they almost certainly walked away with a profit.
The impressive Hobe Sound expanse had been completely rebuilt and includes a main house, poolhouse, and beach house.
The property has a total of 10 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and six half-bathrooms. The grounds include 172 feet of ocean frontage and 370 feet of frontage on the Intracoastal Waterway.
Jupiter, which has a population of around 61,000, has long served as an unofficial hub for those golf pros who choose to base themselves in the U.S. Some of the major names opting to base themselves there over the years include Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, and Justin Thomas.
Today, Jupiter is understood to be home to more than a dozen PGA tour pros—many of whom have been drawn to the area by the balmy weather, luxurious housing, and, of course, the extraordinary number of golf courses that seem to be dotted across every square mile of the town.
