Good Bones: Radio Host Bobby Bones Lists His Nashville Mansion for $8.7M

Bobby Bones, syndicated radio show host and former “American Idol” mentor, wants to sell his enormous six-bedroom, 8.5-bath home in Nashville, TN.

Bones, who also fronts the musical comedy act Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots, has listed his more-than-14,800-square-foot compound for $8,750,000. The prime property was first listed at the beginning of September for $9,250,000.

Bones bought the place just three years ago for $3.7 million.

Swanky spot

Bones’ upscale country estate comprises three buildings on 5 acres. Privacy is paramount here, with a fully fenced property, secure gates, and a surveillance system.

Spread across mostly one level, the home features an open floor plan with modern design; a double-height living room; and funky, circular kitchen.

The spacious primary suite has a seating area and gorgeous bath that boasts a glassed wet room with double showers and a soaking tub.

Resortlike extras

Friends or extended family can bunk in the pool house, which doubles as the guesthouse and has two en suite bedrooms, a living area, kitchen, sauna, and even its own generator.

The property also includes a renovated barn, zero-entry pool, hot tub, and sport court, all flanked by a lush bevy of stately trees.

Bones got his start in radio in Arkansas before moving his talents to Austin, TX, and then on to Nashville. After spending four years on “Idol,” he announced his departure from the franchise last year.

While he might be prepping to part ways with his fab Music City abode, his current radio program, “The Bobby Bones Show,” is still produced at Nashville’s iHeart Studios.
