Here’s a Tip: Gossip King Perez Hilton Has Found a Buyer for His L.A. Home

According to the best of sources (Perez Hilton himself), the original gossip blogger packed up and moved from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in early 2023.

It looks like there’s no going back now, because he’s finally found a buyer for the renovated Spanish Colonial he and his family called home.

The six-bedroom, five-bath abode first appeared on the market in May 2023 for $4,195,000. With no acceptable offers in sight, the price was gradually reduced to $3,695,000. That seems to have done the trick—an offer was accepted, and the listing is currently in contingent status.

Hilton bought the home in 2013 for $1,710,000.

It was built in 1926 in the palm-studded, historic L.A. neighborhood known as Carthay Circle. The dwelling’s interior has since been tastefully remodeled, while the exterior retains its classic Hollywood charm.

The pristinely staged house sat on the market for more than five months before an offer was accepted. Los Angeles’ residential market, similar to most U.S. markets, is not exactly heated these days.

The entire property sits on a 10,000-square-foot corner lot and features 3,887 square feet of indoor living space. There’s a four-bedroom, four-bath main residence and an immaculate guesthouse with a large living room, an open galley kitchen, a spacious main bedroom and a flexible space that could be used as a bedroom, office, or studio.

The main residence has pops of colorful Spanish tile and terra cotta against a mostly white backdrop. A Gothic, arched front entry with a carved wooden door reveals an impressive foyer and a curvaceous stairway.

The original, 14-foot, beamed and ribbed ceilings remain, as do two of the classic hearth fireplaces, which have been updated considerably.

The kitchen has also been revamped with Miele, Sub-Zero, and Wolfe appliances and an island that overlooks the gardens out back. In addition, the cook space features a quaint breakfast nook and a bar. 

The more private areas of the house include two distinct bedroom wings—one with two bedrooms and a Jack-and-Jill bath, plus an additional bedroom or office.

The other wing houses a luxurious primary suite. This sumptuous space features designer wall coverings, an elegant walk-in closet with a chandelier, a spa-inspired bath clad in floor-to-ceiling Carrara marble, and French doors that lead to the backyard.

The well-manicured exterior grounds are marked by a distinctive, flagstone terrace configured as an outdoor dining/living room with a fire pit. There are additional grassy lawns, gardens, and a family-friendly pool and spa surrounded by a charming, white picket fence.

Hilton, 45, was given the name Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr. at birth and crafted his professional name from Paris Hilton, one of the many celebrities he’s covered over the decades. He’s appeared in films and on multiple TV shows and music videos. He’s also written several books, and his original celebrity blog, PerezHilton.com, has grown to include YouTube channels and a podcast.

The single father of three has recounted his experiences moving with his family, including his mother, to a large home in Vegas.
