Hoda Kotb Unveils Stunning Christmas Tree at Her $2.9 Million Suburban Home After a Decorating Session With Her Daughters

Former "Today" show host Hoda Kotb has proudly unveiled the impressive Christmas tree that she and her two daughters set up inside their suburban New York home, as they prepare to celebrate their first festive season since the TV star quit the popular morning show.

Kotb, 61, moved to the $2.9 million Bronxville, NY, abode in 2024 along with her adopted daughters, Haley, 8, and Hope, 6.

Just a few months later, she announced that she would be stepping down from her "Today" show role to spend more time with the girls, citing a desire to give the youngsters more "normalcy" than they were able to enjoy being raised in Manhattan, with a mother whose job required her to be in the office by the crack of dawn.

And it appears Kotb has been able to do exactly that, sharing heartwarming images of Haley and Hope helping her to decorate the large tree inside their property, with Haley jumping up on her mom's shoulders at one point to place the star-shaped topper on the tree.

In the images, the tree could be seen adorned with white lights, as well as an array of ornaments and several candy canes, which Hope was pictured placing on the branches while perched on a window frame to give herself a boost in height.

"It's all happening!" Kotb captioned the carousel of images.

The festive Christmas tree was placed in a corner of the main living room in Kotb's Bronxville home, situated in front of a window, allowing her neighbors to enjoy some of the festivity from outside.

The post comes weeks after she shared a glimpse at her second Thanksgiving celebration inside her dwelling—after making a brief appearance at the iconic Macy's parade, where she lent a hosting hand to her former co-stars, Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker.

The NBC alum took to Instagram to give fans a look into how she spent the holiday after making a quick dash to New York with Haley and Hope.

Kotb, who bought her home for $2.89 million in April 2024, shared a series of images from the festive holiday—including several snaps taken inside her dwelling, where she enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal alongside her children, her mother, Sameha, and several of their close friends.

In the first photo shared on her social media account, the group could be seen eating at a large dining table, which sat in front of a large bay window inside the property.

The next flick captured her perfectly cooked turkey, which was surrounded by napkins that read, "Happy Thanksgiving."

In another snap, Sameha and Hope grinned from ear to ear as they posed for the camera.

The next three slides showed Kotb and her daughters heading to the Thanksgiving Day parade, where the 61-year-old met up with Roker and Guthrie.

Although she is no longer an official host of the parade, Kotb did step in for a few moments to present a couple of the performers, sitting alongside the two "Today" hosts as they welcomed a host of famous faces to the event.

Kotb captioned the adorable snaps, "Happy Thanksgiving xoxoxo."

Although her Thanksgiving dinner welcomed many of her loved ones, one person was seemingly missing: Her ex-fiance, Joel Schiffman.

Although Schiffman and Kotb once lived together in New York City with their kids, the mother of two made the decision in 2024 to move her children to the suburbs in a bid to give them more "normality," while it's thought her former partner remained in Manhattan.

However, he made sure to take a break from the honking taxis and towering skyscrapers to make a trip to Bronxville, which is a mere 30-minute drive from Manhattan.

Schiffman's journey upstate comes just weeks after Kotb revealed that her move had been motivated, at least in part, by her daughter Hope's Type 1 diabetes diagnosis.

During a May 28 appearance on "Today," Kotb explained there was another reason behind her decision, conceding that she wanted to spend more time with her daughter, rather than worrying about her health constantly because she was away from her.

Kotb first revealed that her younger daughter was struggling with a health issue in March 2023, when she explained that Hope had been hospitalized for an undisclosed condition.

Less than two years later, Kotb decided to move her family to Bronxville, where she purchased a stunning property just a short walk from her kids' school.

Speaking to Today.com ahead of her last day on the show, Kotb opened up about her desire to embrace a new routine with her kids at the four-bedroom, five-bathroom, center-hall Colonial.

She was excited to have a more "normal" day-to-day regimen after years of early mornings, she explained.

"I'm just going to let us be a family with a normal rhythm of life. See what we become," Kotb, who was replaced by Craig Melvin, said.

"I'm going to let [my daughters] take more trips and stay up a little later because part of the reason I put them to bed at that hour is because I've got to go to bed. I'm like, 'Goodnight! Everyone's going to bed.' They're like, 'It's 6:30!' I'm like, 'Yeah, lights out!'"

Kotb said in August that she had a vision when it came to finding the perfect family home, revealing in an episode of “Today” that she wanted to create a “warm and cozy” environment where her children could relax and find sanctuary.

“It’s all new,” she said of her move. “New kids, new school, new things, new everything. And it’s funny because all I could think of was that I wanted my house for the kids to feel warm and cozy and a place where they want to hang. And that’s it.”
