Influencer Madeleine Fedyk Reveals Plans To Quit L.A. and Move to Nashville: ‘I’m Getting the Itch’

Social media sensation Madeleine White Fedyk has shocked fans by revealing that she and her husband, Andrew Fedyk, are planning to ditch Los Angeles and relocate to Nashville to be closer to family—and get away from the hustle and bustle of California.

The 29-year-old influencer, who is known primarily for her fashion content on TikTok, took to the video-sharing platform recently to admit that she and her DJ spouse have grown "sick" of Los Angeles and have decided to move to Tennessee.

In a viral video, which has so far amassed over 1.4 million views, Fedyk explained that living in L.A. means she is "15 hours" away from her parents, who live in the U.K., and "six hours" away from her husband's relatives in Canada.

Having tied the knot with her spouse over the summer, she now wants to relocate to be closer to both of their families before they get ready to start a family of their own.

"In an ideal world, we would move to Toronto or England, where my family is, but that is just not feasible at this point in our careers. So that left us with still being far, but we want to be less far," the social media mogul, who boasts over 5.1 million followers, said at the beginning of the clip.

She noted that she wanted to take into account her husband's DJ career, while also making sure she could easily fly to visit her parents abroad.

"We wanted somewhere that has a music industry and has a big airport nearby so we can fly internationally," she added.

She noted that her "personal preference" would be to move to either upstate New York or Connecticut, but that would leave them with a "tough" commute to the nearest airport.

"So we are likely moving to Nashville because our best friends are also moving to Nashville. They are really the only thing closest to family that we are going to have," she said at the end of the clip.

In a separate video, Fedyk was quick to reassure followers that their move is by no means set in stone. However, she said that she and her spouse are leaning more toward leaving Los Angeles.

"It's not a definite, but I'm really getting the itch to leave L.A.," she confessed. "You guys know that I have a love-hate relationship with L.A., and I basically have always had one. I would definitely not still be living there if it wasn't for Andrew."

The social media star then took viewers on their house hunting journey once they arrived in Tennessee.

The first home she showed was a "new build," which left them less than impressed.

"The kitchen was too small, why is it a cave, and it was a new build. It's just not for us. We also learned that in Nashville, the primary bedroom can only be downstairs, which we never knew," she said.

The next home they visited "sold them" from the outside, thanks to its white facade and pillars on the porch.

"This is my dream aesthetic, I was sold, the street was so nice, and then I got less sold as we walked through it," she said.

The home featured high ceilings, vintage crown molding, and plenty of space, which the couple actually had issues with.

"It was a bit much, but it was really nice. The ceilings were nice and tall. I can also respect that the person that lives in this house wasn't afraid to use it," she added.

"This house had so many levels, there were so many steps, and there were so many appropriately sized bedrooms," she said.

However, things got "silly" when they saw the lower-level lounge area, which featured a bar and pool table, which they weren't fans of.

In part two, the influencer said they saw a home that had "so many aspects of being my dream home," but after examining the property in more detail, they quickly realized "it wasn't."

Although the home was gorgeous from the inside, the influencer didn't love the exterior because it resembled a "mansion."

The interior was "absolutely spectacular," thanks to its high ceilings, chandeliers, and sprawling living area.

"The rest of the bedrooms were giant, but, like, way too big for kids' rooms, and also there wasn't that many of them. We would prefer more rooms with less space," she said.

The next house "looked a bit like an Olive Garden," but it was their favorite.

"We loved the downstairs of this house, absolutely no notes, the kitchen was stunning," she said.

The backyard was "easily the best part of the home," and it overlooked a stunning golf course. However, the influencer ultimately decided against it because the children's rooms and closets were far "too large," with her even joking that the closets were "bigger than a department store."
