Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns Announce Engagement—One Year After Buying a $14 Million Home Across From Kylie Jenner

TV personality Jordyn Woods and New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns are engaged—one year after the lovebirds picked up a sprawling $14 million megamansion across the street from Kylie Jenner.

Towns, 30, who celebrated a 126-124 victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers, got down on one knee at Overstory, a rooftop bar in New York City, and asked Woods, 28, to be his wife.

The couple, who have been dating for five years, announced their engagement on Dec. 25 in a joint Instagram post, in which Woods donned a white dress with a white fur coat, while Towns opted for a suede coat and black pants.

"Marry Christmas," the duo captioned their post, which included snaps of the basketball star getting down on one knee for a shocked Woods.

Jenner, who has long been considered a pal, took to the comments section to share her excitement for the pair.

Jenner, 28, commented, "Jordyyyyyyy," along with several crying emojis.

The engagement comes just over a year after the couple purchased a lavish dwelling adjacent to Jenner's pad.

According to TMZ, the couple picked up a seven-bedroom, 17-bathroom home in May.

The stunning property spans 11,000 square feet and sits on more than 2 acres of land.

It features a two-bedroom guesthouse; a 7,200-square-foot spa, which doubles as a gym and entertainment pavilion; a large barn that fits seven horses; and a six-car garage.

The chef's kitchen boasts a walk-through pantry and a breakfast room.

Elsewhere, there is a 350-bottle wine fridge, a 13-seat home theater, a mud room, a tennis court, a resort-style pool, a dance studio, a racquetball court, a batting cage, and a 150-person nightclub with a bar and a separate entrance.

The couple celebrated their first anniversary on Woods' Instagram series, "Regular-ish," during which they gushed about their romance.

"Me and Jordyn met years ago knowing common people and just became friends, and ever since then, our relationship grew where we became more than friends. I'm not saying in that way, but just best friends. And then we started having a deeper relationship.

"It just so happened, the COVID came and kind of brought its challenges and it kind of forced us to either pick where our relationship was going to go as friends or something more, and we chose the latter," Towns said.

"It's kind of cool dating your best friend. We know each other. We know each other's hearts," Woods added. "We know each other on good days and bad days, and we've been through a lot of bad days together."

While speaking to People in 2024, Towns revealed that he adores Woods for always showcasing her support at his basketball games.

He noted that it "means a lot" to see her at the games.

"You know, with my mom and my sister, I’ve seen the impact that good women have on men’s lives, and I’m just blessed that I saw that firsthand before I got with Jordyn so that I could learn to appreciate her," he added.
