Kirstie Alley’s Colossal Estate in Clearwater, FL, Sells for $5.2M

Go big and go home.

The extra-large residence of the late actress Kirstie Alley now has a new owner.

The 7,815-square-foot, nine-bedroom, 10-bathroom Clearwater, FL, retreat was recently sold for $5,220,000.

Alley, who died in 2022, is best known for starring in the sitcom “Cheers,” among other film and TV shows.

A big deal

Space is the name of the game when it comes to this fabulous Florida estate. For starters, the main house consists of seven bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and a half-bath. This includes a two-bedroom guest suite with a kitchen and laundry room.

You can walk through the courtyard, with a stone fireplace, right to the luxurious front entrance. Inside, you’ll find an immaculate foyer with a curved staircase and a double-height ceiling.

The sprawling first floor includes two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, multiple sitting areas, and two dining rooms. Hardwood flooring, high ceilings, and chic travertine can be found throughout.

The kitchen has sleek maple and oak surfaces and floating shelves, and one of the dining spaces has a wall of picture windows.

Alley, who began her Hollywood career in the early 1980s, died of cancer in 2022 at the age of 71. She’s best known for her breakout role in “Cheers,” which earned her an Emmy and a Golden Globe award, and the movie franchise “Look Who’s Talking,” in which she starred opposite John Travolta.
