Prominent L.A. Art Dealer Lists Lorraine Bracco’s Former Hollywood Hills Perch for $2.4 Million
A prominent Los Angeles art dealer is ready to part ways with an iconic piece of Hollywood history—but it is not a painting or sculpture he's set to offload, but rather a storied slice of the city's real estate market in the form of a stunning Hollywood Hills home once owned by "The Sopranos" star Lorraine Bracco.
Ash Nouri, 29, is no stranger to making multimillion-dollar deals that center around investment viability and taste, skills he leveraged in 2022 when he purchased the midcentury modern abode for $2.3 million.
Now, after artfully curating the interiors of the home, Nouri is ready for his next heavy-hitting transaction, putting the newly refinished home on the market for $2.43 million.
Nouri has spent the majority of his career at the acclaimed Sotheby’s auction house, specializing in contemporary and modern, overseeing multiple record-breaking sales, including the recent purchase of Roy Lichtenstein’s "Stretcher Frame with Cross Bars III," which sold for $4.9 million in May.
He knows great art when he sees it, and likes to be surrounded by it whenever the opportunity arises.

So it stands to reason that his home features ample white wall expanses, where posh pieces have been prominently displayed through the years.
But the home is also brimming with natural artwork, featuring floor-to-ceiling walls of glass that frame sweeping, one-of-a kind vistas stretching from the glittering skyline of downtown Los Angeles to the tranquil blue horizon of the Pacific Ocean.
While the views from the house are extraordinary, there's a lot more to like about the hillside house, according to Nouri.
“What stands out about this home is how serene it feels, despite being in such a central location,” he says, referring to the fact that the two-bedroom, 2.5 bath home is nestled on a hillside just above the Sunset Strip, a few blocks from Chateau Marmont.
Beverly Hills lies to the west, Hollywood to the east, and all of Los Angeles and the city's famous beaches are spread out before it.
From this hillside perch, residents are in a position to enjoy the city and its numerous visual virtues all at once, as well as a sense of well-being that comes from being elevated above it all.
“I spend most of my time in the enclosed sunroom, a private space where I can enjoy the views and feel removed from the pace of the city below,” said Nouri.

The sunroom is just one of the many places from which residents and guests can enjoy the view. Nouri added a a frameless glass balcony off the primary suite, and there's also an expansive wraparound deck, ideal for sunset cocktails, alfresco dining, or sunrise meditation.
The 2,211 square foot home, built in 1962 and renovated several times, features a wide open floor plan, a hallmark of the midcentury modern period.
But this particular home has been glammed up with rich hardwood flooring that has been recently stained, custom electric blinds to block the sun when necessary, and a full Savant smart home system that regulates sound, lighting, and climate with the touch of a fingertip.
“The recent enhancements were made with intention, refining the property without reinventing it,” said listing agent Aurian Khajehnouri of Rodeo Realty.
The dine-in kitchen with top of the line stainless steel appliances and rich emerald cabinetry also blends modern convenience with classic design.
Both bedrooms could serve as primary suites with spectacular views, but one bedroom features a luxurious steam shower. There are blueprints for an additional main suite.
The private office, with built-in cabinetry, shelving and desks, extends the home's capabilities even further.

Discreet from the street, the main entry is on the first level, and the rest of the home dramatically cascades down the hill in back, taking full advantage of the terraced lot and views. Drought tolerant landscaping with a drip irrigation system surrounds the home, which looks luxe by night, thanks to designer exterior lighting.
Outdoors there is also a two-car garage with a brand-new Tesla charging station. All is secured with the latest perimeter surveillance system and a private gate, which adds to the safe and sound nature of the home.
With its artsy vibe and its dazzling views, you might think Nouri would be reluctant to let go of his luxury dwelling. But to everything there is a season.
“The owner has cherished the home, but felt the timing was right to pass it on to a new owner who will appreciate its design and sense of tranquility,” Khajehnouri remarked.
Then, of course, there is the property's impressive Hollywood heritage; Bracco purchased the home for $1.62 million in 2014 and carried out an extensive renovation of the abode, before selling it for just under $2 million in 2017.
Bracco, 71, who was born and raised in Brooklyn and now lives in the Hamptons, is no stranger to getting her hands dirty with DIY renovations, having also purchased one of Italy's infamous one-euro homes, which she overhauled from top to bottom, documenting the project in HGTV's series "My Big Italian Adventure."
Speaking to The Wall Street Journal in May, Bracco revealed that she still owns the property, which she noted was a "disaster" when she took it on.
