Snoop Dogg Is Dropping His 6-Bedroom Georgia Mansion for a Very Hot Price—See Inside the Elegant Property

Snoop Dogg is looking to drop a six-bedroom residence in Douglasville, GA, like it’s hot—and for a surprisingly modest price!

The rapper purchased the 1-acre property in 2021 for $458,000, just two months after it was listed for $449,999. He added the home to his impressive real estate portfolio, which includes a sprawling home in Diamond Bar, CA, as well as three other California properties.

But now, Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., is ready to let the home go, listing it for $575,000.

Located in the Holly Hills subdivision, the brick house sits back from the road for extra privacy.

The listing photos reveal a residence unlike anything one might expect from the rapper, suggesting that he has never actually resided in the property. In place of platinum records on the wall and over-the-top recording studios, the dwelling is decorated in clean, neutral tones, with white walls and wooden accents throughout.

It may well be that Snoop purchased the property to be closer to his biological father, Vernell Varnado, who lists Douglasville as his location on his Facebook page.

Whatever its use over the past three years, the home now offers ample opportunity—and space—for potential buyers.

It could serve as the perfect base for a multigenerational family, says listing agent Francheska Portuondo, of eXp Realty LLC.

“It’s a huge home with six bedrooms and an in-law suite with movie theater and exercise room on the lower level,” she tells Realtor.com®. “There is also access out to the backyard from here.”

An open floor plan boasts a grand two-story entry, which leads to a light-filled living room with a vaulted ceiling and a fireplace.

“I love the entrance to the home,” Portuondo says. “The family room and kitchen are beautiful, and so is the layout in general.”

“The primary suite is huge,” she notes. “It has tray ceilings, two closets, and a large sitting area. The bathroom has separate vanities along with a soaking tub and shower.”

“The seller replaced two HVAC units,” Portuondo says. “The roof is original. It’s a 30-year architectural shingle roof.”

“There are a couple of parks nearby and a lot of golf courses, so it’s a great spot to get in and out of. There are well-rated schools in town as well, and a lake is close by. Sweetwater Creek State Park has beautiful walking and hiking trails. It’s also 30 minutes to Atlanta,” she says.

The large lot is something you might not find easily in the city, Portuondo notes.

“To get an acre of land in the city, the price would be astronomical,” she says. “I think the next buyer may have several kids. It could also be someone who wants to have their parents live with them. The downstairs is ideally set up for that. It also has a level yard and a fenced-in area for pets.

“I could see it being used as a secondary home for a snowbird who wants to be here playing golf during the winter, but I think the next owner will more likely use it as a primary residence,” she adds.
