A Rancho Santa Fe, CA owned by retired star major league pitcher James Shields is back on the market for $19.9 million after a price cut.

The home at 14783 Roxbury Terrace, originally listed in $23 million in March, resides in a guarded enclave of the affluent San Diego County community. Featured in The Wall Street Journal, the listing referred to its style as "Californian Modern organic."

The home is listed with Eric Iantorno of Pacific Sotheby's International Realty.

Built from the ground up over three years and completed in 2024, the residence spans over 13,000 square feet on 2.44 acres. It has four bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms.

Rather than opening into a grand foyer, the house greets visitors with a sophisticated courtyard. From there, it moves into a great room and chef's kitchen. Steel pocket sliders, each 16 feet tall, open the great room to the outdoors and frame sunset views across the property.
