Inside Aston Martin’s First Single-Family Estate: A Glass-Walled $19.5 Million Hudson Valley Compound
Aston Martin has added a new property to its impressive portfolio: its first single-family estate.
Priced at $19.5 million, the newly completed modernist estate has just been unveiled in New York’s Hudson Valley. It is reportedly the region’s most expensive newly constructed residence and features geothermal heating and cooling.
Located in Red Hook, NY, just minutes from Rhinebeck Village and under two hours from Manhattan, the four-bedroom retreat, known as Sylvan Rock, is accessed via a gated, 2,000-foot-long driveway that winds past dramatic rock outcroppings and stone walls dating to the Revolutionary War era.
It was designed and built by the luxury British automaker in collaboration with S3 Architecture through Lairs, a design service that brings together the marque’s design team and the architecture firm.
"It's the most siginificant modern home in the Hudson Valley and the first single residence in the world designed in partnership with Aston Martin, and it's a privilege to be the ones representing that story," listing agent Jason Karadus of Corcoran Country Living said in a statement.

The listing follows the 2020 announcement of the project. The Hudson Valley estate is one of just two residential properties created by the ultraluxury automotive marque, alongside a residence in Tokyo unveiled last year.
Set on 55 private acres, the property features a 7,773-square-foot main residence, three one-bedroom guesthouses, a pavilion, and a treehouse.
The home’s dark metal roofline follows the jagged rock formations surrounding the property, creating the impression that the structure emerges naturally from the landscape. Inside, the striking primary suite is cantilevered to frame panoramic views of the Catskill Mountains.
The estate is being offered fully furnished, with one-of-a-kind pieces designed exclusively by the Aston Martin Design Group.
According to Karadus, the property’s singular character becomes clear as visitors move through the home, taking in the custom Aston Martin furnishings and spectacular automotive gallery.
Together, these features make it a truly distinctive offering, unlike anything else on the market.

Signature Aston Martin finishes can be found in the glass-enclosed subterranean automotive showroom, an executive office suite, a screening room, a wine cellar, and a lounge with fireplace and wet bar.
Other luxurious amenities include a wellness pavilion with a professional-grade spa, a fitness center, a steam room, a sauna, a glass-enclosed hot tub, and two treatment rooms.
Glass walls provide a seamless transition to the outdoor living area with a 50-foot gunite pool, entertaining spaces, and a summer kitchen. Also found on the property are sport courts, a spring-fed pond, an agricultural garden, and acres of walking trails.
"When you look at what's actually here: the scale, the craftsmanship, the Aston Martin furniture package, 55 acres of privacy under two hours from Manhattan and 10 minutes from Rhinebeck Village, the $19.5 million asking price reflects what it would cost to replicate this today, if that were even possible," Karadus said in a statement.
"This isn't a spec house anymore. It's a finished, furnished, one-of-one estate. Every detail here, from the automotive gallery to the Aston Martin furniture, was considered with the same intention the brand brings to its cars. Walking through it, you understand immediately why this is a singular property.
"To have a property like Sylvan Rock by Aston Martin choose the Hudson Valley as its location, says a lot about where this market has arrived."
