Kylie Jenner Reveals How She’s Changed Since Buying the ‘Craziest House’ She Could in Beverly Hills When She Was Younger

On the heels of her 29th birthday, makeup mogul Kylie Jenner is switching up the way she thinks about her impressive real estate portfolio.

In a recent interview with Who What Wear, the youngest of Kris Jenner’s famous children explained that she’s “changed” her mind about “having an enormous life.”

“When I was younger, I got really excited, and I got the craziest house I could in Beverly Hills, and I just kind of went for it,” she told the magazine. “I’ve realized that my life got too big, and I said, ‘Yeah, never mind.’

“I think I lost control of my life a little bit for a while there,” the mom of two admitted.

The home Kylie is referring to is most likely the $13.5 million megamansion she purchased with Travis Scott in 2018, not long after they became parents to Stormi Webster, now 8.

Kylie and Travis are also "mom and dad" to son Aire Webster, 4.

The home was an 8,141-square-foot gated estate on a 1.1-acre lot, located at the end of a cul-de-sac. The home boasted all the amenities the star, who was 21 at the time of the purchase, could need: a theater, gym, library, wine room, pool, guesthouse, and massive closets.

The dwelling was certainly sprawling. The primary bedroom was 2,300 square feet and featured a balcony with impressive views of the city and ocean.

At the time, an anonymous People magazine source suggested the home was simply a smart move, with Kylie expertly negotiating a great price for the listing, which had been on the market for a year and a half.

Apparently, the couple “bought it as an investment,” with plans to live there.

Interestingly enough, a later People magazine source revealed the former couple—who dated on and off from 2017 to early 2023—have never actually lived together, maintaining separate homes throughout their relationship.

These days, Kylie is linked to actor Timothée Chalamet. The relationship was publicly reported in spring 2023, and according to a January 2026 Page Six report, they’ve been living together in Los Angeles for more than a year.

While the couple’s living arrangements haven’t been officially confirmed, Kylie is currently living in her newly built custom megamansion in Hidden Hills, an exclusive Los Angeles neighborhood.

“Kylie will stay at his house when she doesn’t have the kids or when she wants to be in the city, and he spends a lot of time at her house in Hidden Hills,” the insider said.

Kylie’s newest 18,000-square-foot abode sits on a sizable plot of land she purchased for $15 million in 2020.

After more than five years of construction, the estate now boasts a 12-car garage, a guesthouse, a sport court, and a very large swimming pool. The location offers plenty of privacy, and there’s even a full-fledged security office.

With her dream home coming together, and a desire to have a life that’s slightly less “enormous” than before, it comes as no surprise that Kylie currently has two homes on the market.

Most recently, Kylie listed the Hidden Hills starter home she purchased for $12.05 million in 2016 at just 19 years old.

After a near decade of serving as her primary residence, the dwelling now has an asking price of $17.995 million—a $2.25 million slash from the $20.25 million she initially had it priced at when the house hit the market in March 2026.

The home has been extensively renovated over time and is now—according to the listing—“designed for both everyday living and grand-scale entertaining.”

In December 2025, Kyle began the process of offloading the brutalist concrete fortress she acquired for $36.5 million in 2020.

The seven-bedroom, 15,350-square-foot giant was first listed at a cool $48 million before dropping to $38.5 million at the end of June 2026. The listing argues the home’s Holmby Hills location is “the most prestigious in Los Angeles,” calling it “the ultimate sanctuary for the elite privacy seeker and wellness enthusiast.”

Home life has never been typical for Kylie, who also opened up about her 20 years of reality TV experience during a chat on the “Therapuss” podcast with Jake Shane.

She admitted she has “not a lot of memories” of life before a camera crew entered the Kardashian-Jenner family home for the first time.

“They were there one day in the house, and everyone made it seem really normal,” she explained. “So it felt pretty natural, I will say.”
