A stunning glass modernist estate, with jaw-dropping views of Fire Island and the surrounding Atlantic Ocean, has once again received a massive price cut.

Originally listed in July 2026 for $5,250,000, the four-bedroom Cherry Grove residence known as Crest House dropped to $4,850,000 a few weeks later.

"Cherry Grove is a uniquely special place, and the market there is equally unique," says listing agent Nikola (Niko) Cejic of Douglas Elliman's Lord Chapin Team. "The highest price ever sold is $2.7 million, so $3 [million] to $3.5 million is the top of the market."

If it sells anywhere near the asking price of $3,995,000, it would be the most expensive property ever sold in Cherry Grove, Fire Island's iconic LGBTQ+ community.

"We have had over 350 people view the house," Cejic says. "It got the most attention of any listing but wasn't selling."

Located on a rare 120-foot double lot, the 7,130-square-foot estate is being offered fully furnished, providing a turnkey opportunity for the next buyer.

"Cherry Grove is a great local community, so word spread quickly that the house was on the market," he notes. "Everybody knows the house."

Custom-built in 2012, the post-and-beam residence has 120 feet of direct ocean frontage and is fully solar-powered.

"The way the home was constructed, it was directed toward the water," Cejic says. "And the thing that drew the owner here is its peace, calmness, and seclusion."

Found throughout the three-story residence's eye-catching interior are vaulted ceilings, a floating staircase, oversized windows, retractable glass walls, and three fireplaces.

Cejic says that, since Fire Island is a resort town, the home will be used as a secondary residence for the next buyer.

"We are targeting buyers from Manhattan and the LGBTQ community," he says.

Just a 15-minute walk from Cherry Grove is the Fire Island Pines community, where fashion designer Michael Kors listed his beachfront compound for $6.25 million.

"You can't get better than 120 feet of ocean frontage and beach access," he notes. "It's just an incredible home."
