A woman is suing Ant Anstead and his girlfriend, Renee Zellweger, for $10 million after allegedly sustaining injuries while visiting the couple at their Laguna Beach rental home.

Tracey Belland filed a lawsuit against Anstead, 47, and Zellweger, 57, in Feb. 2026, claiming she was hurt after allegedly tripping over a rug that was reportedly covering a hole on the patio.

Belland claimed that she was hurt during her Aug. 14, 2024, visit to the California home, which was being rented by Anstead.

According to the lawsuit, which was first obtained by TMZ, Belland claims that a "thin rug had been placed over a hole, which caused her to stumble over the uneven surface, resulting in an injury to her right knee.”

Belland alleged that she had to undergo treatment from the fall, claiming she continues to suffer pain from the incident to this day.

In the lawsuit, Belland demanded $10 million in damages as she called out Anstead, Zellweger, and the owner of the home, Glenn Wilson.

Belland claimed that the money would cover her pain, emotional distress, and her medical bills.

However, her lawsuit is being challenged by Wilson, who is alleging that Belland filed for bankruptcy and didn't mention the lawsuit.

Wilson is requesting that the judge throw out the suit—however, the judge has yet to make a ruling.

According to TMZ, Zellweger never resided in the dwelling and was not on the lease, noting that she instead owned a property nearby.

Anstead has "scoffed" at any suggestions that he is liable for Belland's alleged injuries.

Meanwhile, Wilson has filed a cross-complaint against Anstead and Zellweger, claiming that they should have to fork over any money awarded to Belland.

Anstead and Zellweger began their romance in April 2021 while filming "Celebrity IOU: Joyride" and have been going strong since.

The outlet also reported that Zellweger had formed a close bond with Anstead's 6-year-old son, Hudson, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Christina Haack. (Instagram)

Just two weeks ago, the couple celebrated their five-year anniversary, with Anstead sharing an adorable tribute to his lover on Instagram to mark the occasion.

He shared a throwback photo of the couple on the set of "Celebrity IOU: Joyride."

Anstead captioned the snap, "How it started….. Happy FIVE YEAR anniversary my beautiful lady! Hands down The best human I know! Luckiest boy! I love you my Ren."

In April 2023, a source told People that the couple had "found a house that they both love and are moving in together" in Southern California.

The outlet also reported that Zellweger had formed a close bond with Anstead's 6-year-old son, Hudson, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Christina Haack.

Anstead also shares daughters Amelie, 22, and Archie, 19 with his first ex-wife, Louise Storey.
