Hollywood director Brian De Palma is trying out a new number on his Manhattan home near Washington Square Park.
His Greenwich Village pad has been on and off the market for more than a year, asking for about $2 million. And now, the director of such acclaimed films as “Scarface” and “The Untouchables,” has reduced the price by $50,000.
The two-bedroom, two-bath apartment is now available for $1,950,000.

Though small in size, this pre-war gem oozes charm with its high ceilings, large windows, and spacious living and dining area.
