Inside Bryson DeChambeau’s Custom $10 Million Texas Mansion—Where He Plans To Launch Career as Professional YouTuber

Professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau has suggested he might make a very unique career pivot if LIV Golf collapses—telling reporters that he may put his sporting career on the back burner in order to focus on becoming a YouTube star.

The 32-year-old's contract with LIV Golf is due to expire at the end of this year; however, the tournament could well collapse before that date after its largest backers, the Saudi Arabia-based Public Investment Fund, pulled its funding on April 30, leaving the future of the sporting organization in serious doubt.

But DeChambeau—who was one of several big names to move away from the PGA Tour in order to join LIV Golf in 2022—seemed unfazed when asked about what the development means for his own career prospects, explaining ahead of the PGA Championship that he already has a backup plan in mind: his burgeoning YouTube account.

“I think, from my perspective, I’d love to grow my YouTube channel three times, maybe even more. I’d love to do a bunch of dubbing in different languages, giving the world more reason to watch YouTube. And then I’d love to play tournaments that want me," the golfer said, per ESPN.

DeChambeau already boasts an impressive 2.6 million subscribers on YouTube and has posted a total of 268 videos thus far.

Although most of his viral videos are filmed from the golf course, some use his sprawling Texas dwelling as the backdrop—including a series of viral clips he shared at the end of 2024, when he filmed himself attempting to hit a golf ball over the property and directly into the hole of his private putting green.

For each day that he missed, he allowed himself an additional shot—starting with just one attempt on the first day, then steadily increasing that number as the challenge went on.

In each video, DeChambeau could be seen standing outside the front entrance to his home, shooting the ball from a small mat in his enormous front driveway.

He ultimately completed the challenge on the 16th day, when he sank a hole in one on the 14th shot, a moment that left him—quite literally—leaping for joy.

The golfer carried out a similar stunt inside his Grapevine, TX, home in 2025, when he attempted to hit a ping pong ball from his living room into a "tiny shot cup" on the upper level of his dwelling.

Throughout the challenge, which took 12 days to complete, DeChambeau revealed a glimpse inside his incredibly modern dwelling, which features enormous walls of glass at the front and back of the home, hardwood floors throughout the main living area, and an open layout with soaring double-height ceilings.

DeChambeau is thought to have purchased the parcel of land on which his palatial abode now sits back in 2019, after it had been listed for $850,000. However, Realtor.com now estimates that the enormous mansion he has built on 2.5-acre property is worth upwards of $10 million.

In a January 2024 interview with the LIV Golf website, DeChambeau revealed that construction on the property started in 2020, noting at the time that he'd had to be incredibly "patient" throughout the home-building process because he wanted to ensure that the dwelling was exactly tailored to his specifications.

"People don’t think I’m patient. There’s a reason I’m patient in some areas and others not so much," he said. "[This] wasn’t just a stock spec home. It takes a while to get things done correctly."

It's unclear exactly when the custom mansion was completed, however it made its first appearance on the golfer's social media accounts towards the end of 2024—the same year that he sold his other Texas dwelling, which was located in nearby Dallas.

That property came complete with five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms spread across more than 5,300 square feet.

The home, which was built in 2018, the same year that DeChambeau purchased it for an undisclosed amount, came complete with a number of impressive amenities, including a golf simulator, pool table, and several large TVs.

It also offered a living area with a fireplace, alongside a kitchen with new cabinets and hardware, stainless steel appliances, and a large prep island.

Outside, the property boasted a covered kitchen, lots of room to lounge and entertain, a pool and spa, a fireplace, and fire pit.

The property initially hit market in April 2024, with a price of $3.2 million, and, according to records, was officially sold in July of that same year. Because Texas is a nondisclosure state, the final sale price has not been publicly revealed.

Although he was born and raised in California, DeChambeau has been based in Texas since his college years, having played golf for the Southern Methodist University Mustangs for three years before starting his professional career.

He has remained in the Dallas area ever since.

According to Forbes, DeChambeau's net worth is estimated at around $44 million, bolstered largely by his nine-figure LIV Golf contract, which he signed four years ago.

In 2025, the outlet ranked him as the eighth highest-paid golfers in the world, and the 20th highest-paid athlete in the world, reporting that he earned a staggering $560,000 from his first LIV Golf event alone.
