Rihanna Gives Birth to Baby Girl Named Rocki: Pop Star and A$AP Rocky Embrace Life as Family of 5 at $13.8 Million Mansion

Pop sensation Rihanna has become a proud mother of three after welcoming a baby girl with her partner, A$AP Rocky—revealing in a touching Instagram post that they have named the newborn Rocki Irish Mayers.

Rihanna gave birth to her first daughter A$AP, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, on Sept. 13; however, the delighted couple opted to keep the news of her arrival under wraps for nearly two weeks before sharing it with the world on social media.

The "Umbrella" singer, 37, posted two images in her announcement, the first of which showed her sitting in a bed while cradling her baby girl, who was dressed in a pale pink onesie and matching lace-trimmed socks.

In a possible nod to the newborn's name, which was given to her in honor of her father's professional moniker but is also the title of Sylvester Stallone's famous 1976 boxing movie, the second image showed a pair of tiny pale pink boxing gloves laying across a cream sheet.

The news of baby Rocki's birth prompted an outpouring of well wishes from Rihanna and A$AP's A-list friends and fans, with "Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo commenting on the post: "She’s soooo pretty!!! Ahhhhhh."

Meanwhile, Yolanda Hadid shared a heart emoji, as did supermodel Suki Waterhouse. Fashion star Cara Delevingne wrote: "My heart exploded."

Rocki's birth comes just four months after Rihanna revealed that she was expecting her third child, when she debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at the Met Gala in New York City.

Since then, the chart-topper has been open about her excitement at the prospect of welcoming another baby, telling Extra in July that her sons—RZA, 3, and Riot, 2—were also "delighted" at the news about her pregnancy.

At the time, Rihanna said she did not know the sex of the baby, but admitted that she had "always wanted a girl," adding: "God knows best, right? And I love my boys."

Although the singer revealed no other details about the birth, including where she welcomed Rocki, the New York Post reported that Rihanna gave birth to her daughter at a Los Angeles hospital, likely not far from the couple's primary residence: a Beverly Hills mansion that they snapped up for $13.8 million in 2020.

Luckily for the couple, the home boasts ample room for their growing brood, offering five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a total of 7,700 square feet of living space.

In its listing, the opulent dwelling was described as offering "an elevated living experience," as well as plenty of privacy, no doubt a major draw for a couple with such star power.

Designed with all manner of elevated amenities, the home boasts a staggering level of luxury—both inside and out.

Among its more impressive interior features are a "stunningly executed" chef's kitchen, a private gym, a cocktail bar, a "formal" living room, and a more relaxed family room.

The primary suite is equipped with its own private patio, as well as a "spa-like" bathroom that features an enormous soaking tub—and a huge glass wall that can be opened up to the outside seating area.

Outside, a sunken pool area features an elevated platform with enough room for several loungers, while another paved entertaining space could well serve as an outdoor dining area.

A picturesque pool cabana was designed as a second living room—however it could be transformed to serve as a guest house should the need arise.

Although Rihanna and A$AP have remained very private where their properties are concerned, the duo did own another Los Angeles dwelling, which the rapper purchased for $3.05 million in 2015.

However, that home holds fewer happy memories, having being raided by police in April 2022 as part of an investigation into allegations that he shot a gun at his former friend during an altercation on the street in 2021.

A$AP vehemently denied the claims—and was cleared of all charges by a jury in February of this year.

During the trial, the jury was shown images taken during the raid, with video footage captured at the time revealing that officers used a battering ram to gain access to the gated dwelling, which is located on a leafy street lined with luxury properties.

The cops removed multiple boxes of evidence from the home as well as several guns, which did not match the one used in the shooting, according to TMZ, which later published images of several U-Haul trucks leaving the home.
