Dorit and PK Kemsley Are ‘Ordered To Sell’ Their $7 Million Encino Home Amid ‘Financial Crisis’ and Foreclosure Threat

"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Dorit Kemsley and her estranged husband, PK Kemsley, have reportedly been "ordered" to list their longtime Los Angeles mansion after a prolonged legal dispute during which the businessman admitted they were experiencing a "financial crisis."

Dorit, 50, and PK, 58, are in the midst of a contentious divorce that has been further exacerbated by significant monetary woes, including the looming threat of foreclosure on their $7 million Encino, CA, home.

In July, PK requested a judge allow him to sell the property while accusing the reality star of leaving their children, Jagger, 12, and Phoenix, 10, with her parents in Florida—while providing no information about when she plans to return to the U.S., while he has been left to fight for their home alone.

PK alleged that Dorit has already been gone for a "minimum of three weeks," per court documents seen by the New York Post, stating that her "extended trip" demonstrates her "prioritization of personal travel over addressing the urgent financial crisis facing [their] family home."

TMZ reports that PK's wish has now been granted after a judge ordered the sale of the six-bedroom, 10-bathroom Los Angeles abode, while noting that the TV personality has to move out by November.

According to the outlet, a hearing was held on Aug. 26, when PK alleged that Dorit had not been paying the mortgage on the home.

Meanwhile, Dorit, who is being represented by lawyer Samantha Spector, claimed that PK should be paying the bills, adding that he has enough money to cover the debt as well.

The back and forth between the acrimonious exes continued when PK accused his former spouse of delaying the home's listing, while she alleged that he had refused to sign an agreement with celebrity real estate agent Zach Goldsmith of The Agency, whom Dorit said she hired to help market the property.

Goldsmith has loose ties to the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" world. Not only does he work for Kyle Richards' estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, he is also expecting a baby with the reality star's daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie.

Now, neither PK nor Dorit will be able to delay the sale any longer after a judge determined that the property must be listed, with Goldsmith as the agent, while also ruling that PK should become a manager of the LLC through which they bought the dwelling in order to ensure a swift sale.

The judge also ruled that Dorit will have to cover the cost of utilities, as well as the past-due amounts.

Meanwhile, PK must pay the mortgage until Dorit moves out; however, he will be reimbursed for all the payments made using any profits from the sale.

The businessman will also get back the funds he put into the home following their split, although the judge denied his request for sanctions.

It marks the latest in what has been a very ugly separation battle between the two reality stars.

Just last month, Dorit came under fire from her estranged husband when she jetted off on a lavish European vacation, during which she celebrated her 50th birthday in true style, enjoying a lavish lunch alongside Hermès executive Michael Coste.

However, Dorit's European getaway infuriated her estranged spouse, who filed legal documents on July 13 in which he slammed his former partner for taking the trip while they are still going through a "financial crisis."

The home has come close to hitting the foreclosure auction block on several occasions in recent months. However, each planned sale has been postponed, according to reports—although PK's legal team noted in their filing that the risk of their losing the dwelling has "escalated" significantly.

He further claimed in the filing that he stopped the property from falling into foreclosure after splashing out $300,000.

PK alleged that Dorit has not made any mortgage payments, despite raking in a substantial income from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and spending what he estimates to be $1 million on luxury getaways and designer clothing.

PK argued that she has put her travel plans ahead of the family's financial troubles, requesting that the court allow him to move forward with selling the property.

Dorit filed for divorce from PK in 2025 after 10 years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences."

At the time, she asked the judge to award her sole custody of theirs, in addition to spousal support.

The filing came just one day after PK was photographed sharing a kiss with Shana Wall.

One month after Dorit filed for divorce, PK requested joint custody of their children, while also waiving his right to spousal support and asking the court to do the same for his estranged wife's plea.

They announced their separation in May 2024 in a joint statement: "We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together. We have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children.”

Dorit and PK purchased their sprawling Encino abode for $6.48 million in 2019, according to records, and have since made several attempts to sell it, beginning in September 2020, when they listed the property for $9.5 million.

They reduced their asking price to $7.99 million a few weeks later, before whipping the home off the market altogether.

It was relisted for the same price in April 2021, but once again vanished from the market within a matter of weeks.

The couple have made substantial upgrades to the home since buying it—and have also proudly showcased the property in numerous episodes of their hit Bravo show.
