Simone Biles Reveals 3 Masked Men Targeted Her Chicago Home and Stole Her Porsche: ‘Absolutely Insanity’

Olympic gymnast Simone Biles has revealed that three masked men targeted her Chicago home and stole her Porsche GTS—an alarming incident that ultimately prompted her and husband Jonathan Owens to add a Doberman to their family.

Biles, 29, opened up about the frightening ordeal in a TikTok video, explaining that the theft occurred during the couple's final months in Chicago.

“I feel like I need a new car because during our last few months in Chicago, three men in masks came to our house and stole my Porsche. Stole the GTS,” she recalled.

While the Olympic gold medalist confirmed that the vehicle was ultimately recovered, she revealed that she is now preparing to purchase a new car.

Biles stopped short of sharing further details about the incident, teasing that the full story would have to wait for another time while joking that the increasingly unbelievable events in her life could provide plenty of material for a reality show.

“The things that happen to me are absolutely insanity,” she said. “It’d be really easy for producers to just film regularly.”

Biles went on to reveal that the unsettling incident played a role in her and Owens' decision to get their Doberman.

“That is one of the reasons why we also got our Doberman,” she explained.

“Yes we recovered the car, onto the next,” she captioned the clip.

Biles' revelation comes just hours after she and Owens listed the temporary Texas home they lived in while putting the finishing touches on their custom-built mansion.

The couple began building their sprawling Texas residence in 2022, with construction wrapping three years later. While work on the property was underway, the couple picked up a four-bedroom home in Spring, TX, to serve as their temporary base.

Now that they have officially settled into their custom abode, Biles—who is listed on the deed alongside her mother, Nellie—has put the home on the market for $1.2 million.

Built in 2019, the contemporary residence spans 3,998 square feet and features four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a three-car garage.

The listing, which is held by Melissa Franklin of RE/MAX, describes the property as "pure perfection" and a home "built for entertainment."

"This home captures the feeling of your own private resort year-round. The listing comes mere days after Biles opened up about the couple's latest move while speaking to People after Owens signed a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts in March.

Although Biles has remained primarily in Houston thus far, she confirmed that she plans to join her husband in Indianapolis later on—while holding on to their sprawling lakefront mansion outside Houston.

“I’ve been in Houston most of the time, so I’m going to officially move there [to Indianapolis] a little bit later. So I haven’t experienced too much, but the stadium is stunning. It’s beautiful. I’m just excited to watch my husband. It doesn’t matter, as long as he’s safe and healthy and he’s having fun, then I don’t care," she said.

Though the couple's home base will remain in Texas, they could opt for a rental in Indianapolis during the NFL season, much as they did in Chicago while Owens was playing for the Chicago Bears.

During Owens' stint in Chicago, Biles regularly traveled between Illinois and Texas as construction continued on the couple's custom mansion outside Houston.

Work on their Texas property was finally completed in November, although Biles and Owens didn't officially move in until February, after packing up their Chicago residence following the end of the Bears' season.

Since settling into the home, Biles has offered several glimpses inside the lavish property—including a peek at their luxurious bedroom, which was designed to evoke the feeling of a five-star hotel.
