EXCLUSIVE: ’90s Sitcom Star Joely Fisher Sells Calabasas Home for $2.9 Million—After Hosting Incredible Designer-Packed ‘Living Estate Sale’
Actress Joely Fisher has sold some of her family's most unique and treasured possessions in an incredible "living estate sale" that featured a trove of designer clothing and accessories offered up for grabs.
The sale, which took place on Dec. 13 and Dec. 14, was held at a beautiful Calabasas, CA, mansion that records show is registered to a trust in the name of Fisher's actress mother, Connie Stevens. Three days after the sale ended, that property sold for $2.9 million.
Those lucky enough to secure a spot at the sale were treated to a bevy of high-end fashions, Hollywood memorabilia, and significant collectors' items, as well as a chance to tour the stunning California abode.
Fisher, 58, who is the daughter of Eddie Fisher and the half-sister of "Star Wars" icon Carrie Fisher, shot to fame while starring in Ellen DeGeneres' hit sitcom, "Ellen." However, she also boasts an incredible Hollywood heritage—one that was on full display at the estate sale, according to its attendees.
Thrifting sensation Macy Eleni shared a glimpse into the sale on her TikTok account, where she declared it was the kind of event one can only find in Hollywood—showcasing a jaw-dropping collection of TV and movie costumes, A-list apparel, designer purses, shoes, movie scripts, and more.

The website for the company organizing the estate sale revealed a small sample of what attendees could expect, teasing an iconic collection from a Hollywood great—who also just happens to be a collector of the more unique things in life.
"This weekend, we're honored to present an appointment-only, living estate sale of actress, writer, director, singer, and industry leader Joely Fisher," the description read.
"Born into a truly 'royal' Hollywood lineage as the daughter of Eddie Fisher and Connie Stevens and half-sister to Carrie Fisher, Joely has forged her own remarkable path. A true triple threat, her career spans decades across television, musical theater, and film.
"Known to millions as Paige Clark on ABC’s 'Ellen,' a role for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe award and as Brenda Bradford and RoboBrenda in 'Inspector Gadget.'
"Other notable series include 'Normal Ohio,' 'Til Death,' The Mask,' 'Desperate Housewives,' 'Wild Card' and so many more TV shows, motion pictures and Broadway shows like 'Grease and 'Cabaret.'
"Beyond the stage and screen, Joely’s impact extends to the heart of the entertainment industry. From acting, writing, and directing to her dedicated service within SAG-AFTRA leadership, she continues to shape and support the Hollywood community with the talent and tenacity that are unmistakably part of her DNA."
Speaking about the sale, Fisher revealed that many of the items that were available for purchase were collected long before she welcomed her children—Skylar Grace, 24, True Harlow, 19, and Olivia Luna—with her husband, Christopher Duddy, whom she wed in 1996.
She is also stepmother to Duddy's two children from a previous relationship.

"I have always been super eclectic, picking up things from my travels and experiences," she said.
"Everything we surround ourselves with tells a little story of where we have been and the people we were. A lot of the things you see in this sale are from when I didn’t have a child yet, and I have five now. I have had a whole reinvention of a career."
Fisher noted that her motivation for the sale came from a desire to clear the decks before she and her family move into a new dwelling—having listed their Calabasas abode for $3.1 million in March, before accepting an offer of $2.9 million in a deal that closed on Dec. 17.
"As we move into a new home, we are also leaving behind a little over a year of tragedy and sadness for my family. I like the history of these pieces, but I also like the idea of creating something new and finding new memories, in a new chapter and in a new space," she explained.
Records show that Fisher and her family had been living in the five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom property since 2017, when they purchased it for $2.3 million.
The actress noted that she found it difficult to come to terms with letting her beloved items go, however, knew that it was time to rehome the special goodies to fans.
"The hardest thing about this sale was choosing what I was ready to let someone else give some love to. My father, my mother and my sister Carrie shared the same penchant for sparkly tchotchkes, beautiful boxes, and crystal vases.
"I have a couple pairs of my mom’s shoes in the sale. They’re sparkly and beautiful and saw some fantastic nights out or onstage. There is a decorative box I am letting go of, it’s blue and looks Asian-inspired and was made for storing playing cards.
"That’s what I was told by Charles, our EBTH estate organizer. But, in Eddie Fisher style, it probably held contraband!" she said.
The living estate sale is a ticketed event and welcomes 40 shoppers per half hour.
Items available at the estate include Hollywood scripts from "Ellen" and "'Till Death."
Eleni also revealed that the estate came complete with items from Vivienne Westwood, Chanel, and Cosabella.
