Retired big-league pitcher Ryan Vogelsong has tossed his Suwanee, GA, home onto the market for $6,850,000.

About 33 miles northeast of Atlanta, the house sits on more than 11 acres just outside The River Club, a luxurious country club. Vogey’s 11,700-square-foot abode has seven bedrooms and 7.5 baths.

The spacious interiors abound with traditional design and luxury details. Vogelsong purchased the place for $2.35 million in August 2015.

Remodeled in 2016, the dwelling now serves up top-notch views via large windows and offers unmatched comfort in its souped-up living spaces. Fireplaces warm several rooms, including a brick seating area that overlooks the pool and patio below.

A lovely white-on-white kitchen, complete with a four-seat island, is at the heart of the home. The primary bedroom also sports a fireplace, and the nearby bathroom has a soaking tub and a walk-in stone and tile shower. Guests can spread out in the many bedrooms or decamp to the detached garage, which comes with its own private suite.

Numerous posh amenities have been added recently, including a golf simulator, home gym, mini sports center with a basketball court, a spacious wine cellar, and a luxe media room for leisurely movie nights.

The property’s outdoor spaces keep pace with its interiors, thanks to a pool, spa, putting green, a three-stall horse barn, lit-up ring for dressage, heated tack room, and a variety of paddocks.

Vogelsong, 45, made his big-league debut in 2000 with the San Francisco Giants. Derailed by injuries and ineffectiveness, he left Major League Baseball for the Japanese League in 2007.

Following three seasons in Japan, Vogelsong spent another year back in the states in the minor leagues before breaking back into the Giants’ rotation in 2011, at the age of 33. His tenacity and against-all-odds comeback story made him a fan favorite in the Bay Area. His return engagement was also a huge success—he wound up being a key member of the Giants’ World Series wins in 2012 and 2014. After retiring in 2017, he joined the Giants organization to work with young pitchers, helping them develop their games.
