Christina Haack and Heather and Tarek El Moussa Celebrate Daughter Taylor’s 16th Birthday With a $150K BMW: ‘So Well Deserved’

Believe it or not, the eldest El Moussa child is ready to hit the road. Taylor El Moussa—the daughter of HGTV stars Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack—just turned 16 and the family marked the milestone with a very lavish gift.

The teen, who was first introduced to audiences as a toddler on the premiere of “Flip or Flop” back in 2013, was gifted a $150,000 BMW X5 ahead of her special day.

Taylor’s close-knit crew of co-parents—her mom, dad, and stepmom, Heather El Moussa—shared an Instagram post together to allow their followers to witness the generous gifting moment.

The video shows Taylor and Tarek circling a parking lot in what is described as a “dad-daughter driving lesson,” when Heather and Christina pull up in the new vehicle, appropriately decked out in a massive pink bow.

Taylor seemed overwhelmed with excitement upon seeing her new wheels.

“It’s such a beauty,” said Christina. “I’m so happy for her.”

In the caption of the post, Heather hinted that the trio had worked together to surprise Taylor, questioning whether the car itself or “the fact that the three of us actually pulled this off” was more impressive.

“The car is so well deserved,” Heather wrote. “We love you so much, Tay.”

Although Taylor was gifted the SUV in August, her actual birthday was Sept. 23. Tarek noted the occasion was an emotional one for him, gushing over his daughter in a touching Instagram post.

“This one got me,” the real estate investor admitted, with a crying emoji.

Alongside a series of photos of Taylor at all ages, Tarek remarked that he sees “every version” of her at once.

“The day you made me a dad, my life changed forever. Somehow, 16 years passed in a blink, I almost can’t believe it’s real,” he wrote. “Part of me wishes I could go back and hold on to every one of these moments a little longer! But I am just so proud of the strong, smart, kind, beautiful person you are!”

The proud dad continued with some advice for Taylor as she continues to navigate her teenage years.

“As your world gets bigger, never make yourself smaller for it,” he added. “Keep your voice. Keep your kindness. Know your worth. And never forget… wherever your life takes you, your dad will always be standing beside you.”

Mom Christina weighed in with a comment, adding, “Time goes by too fast.”

Of course, Christina shared her own sweet post, too, letting the world know a bit more about Taylor’s personality and achievements.

She explained that Taylor works hard at “everything” she does without being asked, from being awarded “straight As” at school and “excelling at soccer.”

“You try hard and you just get it,” the interior designer wrote. “You are kind, smart, sweet, determined, an old soul, and drop dead gorgeous. You changed my life in all the best ways. I’ll always be here for you, I’ll always have your back, and you’ll always be my baby.”

Heather chimed in on the birthday fun, posting a selection of snapshots with Taylor.

“Time is moving so fast and I feel so grateful to get to watch you grow into such a beautiful young woman,” the “Selling Sunset” star gushed. “You continue to amaze me. Love you so much, Tay.”

Heather just recently celebrated a birthday of her own, ringing in her 39th with a trip to Napa, CA, with Tarek, Christina, and Christina’s partner, Chris Larocca.

The set of couples spent the weekend enjoying wine tastings, spa services, and time by the pool.

In honor of Heather's birthday, Christina opened up about their friendship, writing, "Love co-parenting, working, and all the fun adventures with you!"

In addition to Taylor, Tarek and Christina welcomed a son, Brayden James El Moussa, 11, during their marriage.

The former couple were married from 2009 to 2016, finalizing their divorce in 2018.

In 2019, Tarek met Heather, and the pair wed in October 2021. Together, they share a son, Tristan Jay El Moussa, 3.

Christina also has a younger son named Hudson London Anstead, 6, with her second ex-husband, Ant Anstead.
