Bilt’s New Credit Cards: New Tiers, New Rewards, and No Transaction Fees
Bilt officially unveiled its latest product to customers Wednesday, a lineup of new credit cards billed as Bilt 2.0.
Over the last year, the company has expanded its offerings by launching a strategic partnership with UWM as well as Venmo. With Bilt 2.0, the company is offering their customers a way to participate more fully with Bilt rewards ecosystem, getting the most out of paying your rent and mortgage.
“Rather than just trying to make the same card better or worse, we said, ‘How do we totally reimagine a card that gives you the richest reward value prop for rent and mortgage and everything else?’” Ankur Jain, founder and CEO of Bilt, said in an interview with Realtor.com® ahead of the announcement.
“I think we pulled it off.”
Bilt 2.0 and your new credit card options
As of Jan. 14, Bilt will transition away from their previous Mastercard offering to introduce three new loyalty program credit cards issued by Cardless.
These new cards will earn Bilt Points on rent and mortgage payments, as well as the newly launched Bilt Cash on everyday spending. The cards are the only way to earn both Bilt points and Cash simultaneously.
The Bilt cards will allow customers to pay their rent and mortgages with no transaction fees. Furthermore, Bilt won’t impose a preset spending limit on housing payments, meaning rent and mortgage payments won’t eat into a user’s available credit for everyday purchases. The program also allows users to earn rewards across multiple properties, with no annual cap on points earned from housing payments.
“Every dollar needs to work for you,” Jain said. “We think this is a win-win-win for our neighborhood partners, for the Bilt ecosystem, and, most importantly, for our customers.”
As of today, both new and existing cardholders can choose from three different card options:

Bilt Palladium Card ($495 annual fee)
- 2X points on everyday spend
- 4% back in Bilt Cash on everyday spend
- First-ever, limited-time 50,000-point sign-up bonus + Gold Status (after qualifying spend)
- $300 in additional Bilt Cash on account opening
- $600 in annual credits ($400 Bilt Travel Hotel credits + $200 in Bilt Cash)
- Additional premium benefits, including Priority Pass access, purchase protection, authorized users* and more.
Bilt Obsidian Card ($95 annual fee)
- 3X points on dining or grocery (grocery up to $25K/year), 2X on travel, 1X on all other everyday spend
- 4% back in Bilt Cash on everyday spend
- $100 in annual Bilt Travel Hotel credits
- $200 in Bilt Cash on approval
- Premium benefits designed for everyday value, including Trip Delay Insurance, no foreign transaction fees, and more
Bilt Blue Card (no annual fee)
- 1X points on everyday spend
- 4% back in Bilt Cash on everyday spend
- $100 in Bilt Cash on account opening
- Earn both Bilt Points and Bilt Cash with no annual fee and no foreign transaction fees
The first-year added bonus
In addition to the expanded rewards program, Jain and Co. announced that with the launch of the card, every new cardholder receives a 10.00% introductory APR on new eligible purchases for 12 months across all three cards, subject to terms and credit approval.
The news follows President Trump's announcement earlier in the week, floating the idea of putting a one-year cap on credit card interest rates at 10%.
“We're gonna come meet our customers where they're at for this first year,” Jain explained, adding they could “explore” other options after that.
Bilt cardholder transition timeline
With the launch announcement, applications are now available for new customers interested in the cards.
Current members have until Jan. 30, 2026, to make their selection. The company promises a seamless transition, which will include allowing members to keep their same card number, so subscriptions and autopay continue uninterrupted, along with automatic updates to Apple Pay and Google Pay. New cards arrive by Feb. 6, 2026, for immediate use on Feb. 7.
Current Bilt Mastercard holders who elect not to switch to one of these options will be replaced by the no-annual-fee Wells Fargo Autograph® Card.
